@Daniel The solution you provided for this issue also was the answer for another intellisense issue I was having. This is where I was attempting to add a middleware functon from another cartridge. After enabling the option from the search @builtin TypeScript and JavaScript Language Features it auto imported and created the variable and require reference.

Thank you very much, however, this post isn't just a thank you, it's to help others that may have had the same issue. I was not able to find this solution on any other posts on StackOverflow or any other forums. Hopefully this won't get downvoted again by @adrianmole and user@chris since it's resolving some other issues that were not mentioned. Forgive my misunderstanding on how to wait for approval on upvotes and simply thanking the contributors. Hoping deleting my last thank you will resolve my newb downvotes. I hope this isn't just noise and can be helpful to others.

If this should be posed as a new question with answer, I'll glady take the feedback to correct it, rather than receive the down voted reputation. Please let me know if silently saying thank you in my head is most appropriate way of the StackOverflowers.
