Is this still an issue? I tried every example from above and nothing works, to set fullscreen to a different size than desktop.

Tried 1280x800, desktop is 1920x1080.

Best result is auto, where everything is in correct ratio but at 1920x1080. In fullscreen True the ratio is weird, seems like 1920x800.
