maybe my answer is a bit late but I think I have the solution to your problem. Use WSL with Ubuntu in Windows Terminal. Basically in WSL what you will do is create and configure your Neovim just as you configured it in Windows (of course considering changes in path issues, etc.). But that solved my problems with nvim-jdtls for large projects. You will even notice improvements in Neovim performance.
