Yes. OpenMetrics is effectively Prometheus format with various additions/improvements. Although the majority of Dynatrace documentation talks about Prometheus, treat OpenMetrics as applying in the same way.

For clarity, Dynatrace does not query Prometheus servers, it only integrates with exporters directly at source that expose metrics in a Prometheus/OpenMetrics format and as such can take from any source exposing metrics in this format.
