This might be the error due to the wrong configuration for android.

It may happen due to following:

• Make sure your release jks key is in the correct path as you have provided in key.properties.

storePassword=your-keystore-password keyPassword=your-key-password keyAlias=key storeFile=path-to-your-keystore/key.jks

• Check if the above details are correct like storePassword and keyAlias
• Try to clear the gradle cache and build again.
