You’ve used the Expanded widget for your questions card, which means this section takes up all the available space. When I wrapped your Padding widget (the child of Expanded) with a ColoredBox and added a color, it clearly shows that the Expanded widget is using the entire available space (refer to the screenshot; the green area represents the space occupied by Expanded).

Removing the Expanded widget and both Positioned widgets will eliminate that space. However, you may need to adjust the code to maintain the desired "stack effect"
