From what i know VSCode doesn't directly display the size of an extension, however you could see the file size after you downloaded the extension

1. Go to the extension tab and find which extension to see their file size
2. After that look for "Installation" on the right size of the page

there should be a list of short description like identifier, version, last updated and finally size
