Go to Settings -> Editor -> Inscpection For both profiles (IDE Default and Project Default), Search & check "Python | Unresolved references" Make sure it is enabled with the below config

1. Scope: "All Scope"
2. Severity: "Error"
3. Highlight in Editor: "Error"
