I'm also looking for how to measure latency.. the only solution that came to mind that didn't work very well was to have the server writing the timestamp in the frames and the client reading it and using an OCR to read this timestamp and calculate the difference to get the latency. I'm now seeing if there's a way to package the timestamp with RTSP so I can extract it on the client.
