The problem for me was that I committed .idea.

What I did to solve that problem:

1. shut down the blowtted Intellij
2. remove .idea folder and then commit the change
3. open your folder in the blowtted ?? you know

I've just seen it; this error was from 2012, the same age of my laptop.
