I am getting very similar issues. VS keeps asking me to re-enter my credentials and then I can't do that. I have change the account setting to try using all of the available options - embedded browser, system browser, windows broker - nothing works. looking in logs I am getting this: Error: 'MSAL.NetCore.4.66.1.0.MsalClientException: ErrorCode: authentication_ui_failed.

it's driving me nuts.

I'm on version 17.13.1 - I downgraded from 17.13.2.

When account settings is set to use embedded browser, if i try to sign-in again, after a long wait, 2 mins or so, I get a blank window pop up for a couple of minutes, and then an error iv VS saying: The browser based authentication dialog failed to complete. Reason: The server or proxy was not found.
