It seems like these installation instructions are either incomplete or only apply to certain wikis.
In order for this gadget to work, you should also install certain extensions, most notably gadgets and parserfunctions, although some others may be required as well.

To install these extensions, please read the corresponding manual page. If you do not have server access, you may have to ask your wiki provider to do this for you.
