How to enable Edge (Chromium) WebView2 in SAP GUI 7.70 or higher:

1. Open SAP Logon.

2. Click on "Customize Local Layout" (the little gear icon in the top-right corner or press Alt + F12).

3. Select "Options…" from the dropdown.

4. In the SAP GUI Options dialog:

   • Navigate to:
     Interaction Design > Control Settings > HTML Control

5. Under HTML Control, change the setting from:

   • Internet Explorer

   • 👉 to Edge (based on Chromium)

6. Click Apply and then OK.

7. Restart SAP GUI for changes to take effect.
