This is a very batshit thing on ios. It’s not they idle the app when minimise, this is ok. This is batshit because of i can’t run the in game download large file on background when game is minimised, rather I have to keep open my game splash screen. Bro, who does that!!! Even when the in game still says this will continue downloading data when even it is background. Even after that ios pause the download when game minimised. Ok for small size. When large size is downloading i can’t even go to other app by my minimising current app!! It will pause the download. What a irritated thing!! ios multitasking is super sucks.

*using 16 pro, my background app refresh is turned on and running ios 18.4 stable. Still i am suffering with this thing. Downloading one punch man in game data which is almost 6Gb. And I have to wait in the splash screen and stay away from minimising, stupid!!!
