This will sound crazy but in Qt creator click projects button on the left panel, select your build and then under initial configuration select the "Current Configuration" tab click the " Run CMake button " the text will change to " Re-configure with Initial Parameters" click this button 22 more times you will see the GUI throbber animation will last a little longer this tab will now apear as it is in the image link. you should then be good to go. Click the edit button to see your project, run CMake and build.
