I had regenerated the key store and triple checked the SHA1 and everything. Interestingly the Google One Tap showed up and allowed me to click the profile, and it would error out afterwards. When I used a SHA1 that was obviously invalid, the component errored out immediately.

I found a blog suggesting to use a 'Web' type OAUTH Client, instead of using the 'Android' one as suggested on most blogs and Claude. I left out the Url fields, and this worked!

TL;DR try use 'Web' Client instead of 'Android'
