You can adjust the "window.zoomLevel" in your settings.json file to increase or decrease the font size of the sidebar. To change the font size in the text editor, use "editor.fontSize", and for the terminal, use "terminal.integrated.fontSize".

Once you find the right balance, it should significantly improve your comfort while working.
