Rename a Branch via the Web Portal

  1. Go to your Azure DevOps project → Repos → Branches.

  2. Find the branch you want to rename.

  3. Click the … (ellipsis) next to the branch name.

  4. Select Rename.

  5. Enter the new branch name and save.

✅ Note: This works for Azure DevOps hosted Git repos.
