To be able to log in to Google in a production application, don't forget to enable the OAuth consent screen for production.

You must visit https://console.cloud.google.com and go to Menu → APIs & Services → OAuth consent screen.

Then select the "Audience" side menu and change the Publishing status to production. The review process can take up to 4-6 weeks.
