You need to double check if the driver is available or not.

Go to My Computer -> Manage -> Devices and see if there is any exclamation mark. If yes, you need to install driver through Window Update.

Go to Window Update ->View optional updates -> Choose line contains "ADB USB download gadget"

Restart and you are good to go.
