The settings dialog always appeared when I used the STS for Eclipse + GitHub Copilot + Copilot Metrics plugin.

The Copilot Metrics plugin requires a specific backend server, not just any URL. It verifies this by calling a /metrics/api/health (or similar endpoint), which returns JSON data.

After this restart the eclipse if still error is there , go to window
window->show view->error log
