I am trying to find the same answer as Richard, but the point here is that I am not able to put the formula in the same cell because the value of this cell will be randomly changed. And when the one enters a new value, then the previously added formula gots lost. For sure it will work with VBA macro, but the one given above is not exactly the desired solution :-).

Most of these replies were not working for me after running into the same issue in late 2024 on a Macbook.

For me, the solution ended up being to open System Settings > Privacy and Security. Then scroll to find Local Network. Make sure it is enabled for Google Chrome or whatever browser you hit issues with.

I'm having the same problem ! It would be awesome to have this feature but I couldn't find any tool that has it. I tested rye, uv. I'm still checking for poetry but for it does not look promising.

I'm astonished how such a simple feature not developed in Python, especially when knowing the number of developers that uses it.

Fallback mechanisms on pip/poetry/rye/uv would make the process of multi-package development so clean.. But unfortunately nothing at my knowledge has been proposed for now :(
