The response https://stackoverflow.com/a/79421761/20577835 should be the accepted one.

I spent several hours looking for a fix, typing "visual studio code not running" as the more generic definition I could think of...today I saw a comment about trying to run the code using View -> Terminal and that also did not work for me. Then I typed "visual code freezes when opening terminal" and I landed here...

Sometimes is not that the problem has not been detected by others, is that we search it with different wording...I will guide others to the right response.

I am running VS Code in Windows 10, and it was working OK until last week (auto update?).

Thank you Mark!

@Ron Rosenfeld Thanks so much! I've been using Excel for about as long as it's been around, but am only just getting my head around LET. This was an excellent solution and very well explained! So well explained, that I was able to adapt to my case, where I also needed to use CHOOSECOLS. Here, the table is D_KPI_T2. The initial filter is based on a column selected by the value of a dropdown in $D$4, where that column contain "=" (which is formatted in Wingdings to appear as a bullet). I then choose the columns, before sorting them. I had FILTER and CHOOSECOLS working without LET, but it fell apart when I tried to add SORTBY. I hadn't made the connection that I needed to use INDEX to solve the 'conceptual problem' you pointed out. Nor had I appreciated that LET would make this so much easier to understand.

=LET(
x,FILTER(D_KPI_T2,INDEX(D_KPI_T2,0,MATCH($D$4,D_KPI_T2[#Headers],0))="="),
y,CHOOSECOLS(x,1,2,4),
z,SORTBY(y,INDEX(y,0,1),1,INDEX(y,0,2),1,INDEX(y,0,1),1),
z)

Did you ever figure this out? After 7 hours and reading stack overflow, I finally got my answer. I happen to have a windows laptop and had PgAdmin installed but our app is linux. I spun my database instance up on docker and couldn't connect to save my life. I was trying to run prisma migrations and trying to connect via DBeaver to no avail. Out of a hunch, I found that if you have PGAdmin installed under windows there's a service that runs in the services snap-in. as soon as I disabled, I was able to connect. I thought for hours and hours I had a password issue b/c of the error message.

I am having the same problem now. I am following the advice but GameViewController is not able to see variables in the GameScene.

class GameScene: SKScene, SKPhysicsContactDelegate, GameSceneDelegate { weak var gameViewController: GameViewController? @State var selectedMusic: String?

override func viewDidLoad() {
    super.viewDidLoad()

    if let view = self.view as! SKView? {

        if let scene = SKScene(fileNamed: "GameScene") {
            scene.gameViewController = self
            scene.scaleMode = .aspectFill
            view.presentScene(scene)
        }

        view.ignoresSiblingOrder = true
    }
}

Value of type 'SKScene' has no member 'gameViewController'

What is the fix for this?

I have the same problem, on the device or simulator the application starts but after eas builds the abb file and uploads it to google in the application testing phase. After downloading and running on the phone a white screen starts with an icon in the middle and does not want to go further. I use expo 52.0.31i react native 76.6 because on 76.7 the application does not want to be built by eas on the expo account. This is related to this introduced splash screen. In your GitHub project, the value you use for the quarkus.native.resources.includes attribute does not target the good location.

For resources from your own project, you should not type the resources folder's name, as stated in the documentation.

For resources from third-party jar (from direct or transitive dependencies), you should use a full path, but without a leading / character.

quarkus.native.resources.includes = helloWorld.dat,helloWorld.dfdl.xsd,helloWorld.xslt,org/apache/daffodil/xsd/XMLSchema_for_DFDL.xsd

With this current value, the mvn install -Dnative still generates errors due to the xerces' use of reflection and xerces' missing resources files.

As stated in the documentation, "The easiest way to register a class for reflection is to use the @RegisterForReflection annotation" (see link below).

package org.acme;

import io.quarkus.runtime.annotations.RegisterForReflection;

@RegisterForReflection(targets={ org.apache.xerces.impl.dv.dtd.DTDDVFactoryImpl.class, org.apache.xerces.impl.dv.xs.SchemaDVFactoryImpl.class})
public class MyReflectionConfiguration {
}

You need to update your application.properties file too to include xerces' missing resources files.

quarkus.native.resources.includes = helloWorld.dat,helloWorld.dfdl.xsd,helloWorld.xslt,org/apache/daffodil/xsd/XMLSchema_for_DFDL.xsd,org/apache/xerces/impl/msg/XMLSchemaMessages*.properties

At this step, your project should compile, generate a native image and trigger test for the hello endpoint.

What I see now is an error due to your dfdl schema (your code reach a System.exit(1); call) with this text in your test.txt file.

Schema Definition Error: Error loading schema due to src-resolve: Cannot resolve the name 'dfdl:anyOther' to a(n) 'attribute group' component.

It seems that even in plain java, your project contains errors ?

Our Java debugger shows owned and waiting-on synchronization monitor ids for each thread, which helps a lot when debugging deadlocks. We're building a Python (CPython) debugger now and would like to do the same. Anyone know if there is a way to do this with the full control we have (launching the user program with exec() and the Python side of the debugger is our own)? Is it possible to subclass and replace the builtin lock and synchronization classes?

Can check whether you have provided the appConfig in the bootstrapApplication? bootstrapApplication(/* Starting Component */, appConfig)

What is the correct way to call this method?

If you're trying to list users from AWS IAM Identity Center, you need to use the region-specific Identity Store API URL instead. This is different from how you list users in IAM.

Unlike IAM, it uses POST request with a JSON body to the following URL (assuming you have set the authorization headers for AWS correctly):

https://identitystore.${identity_center_region}.amazonaws.com/

(The path is /.)

Request headers:

Content-Type: application/x-amz-json-1.1
X-Amz-Target: AWSIdentityStore.ListUsers

Request body:

{
  "IdentityStoreId": "${identity_store_id}"
}

Replace ${identity_center_region} with the region where you created your Identity Center instance (e.g. us-east-1) and replace ${identity_store_id} with its ID (e.g. d-1234567890).

How do you find this?

Nick Frichette explains how AWS API requests are structured based on different protocols on his blog.As he points out in the blog, all of this can be found in the AWS SDKs, but we'll use Botocore here.

To construct an API request for Identity Store using Botocore, you can refer to the following sources:

1. For endpoint URL

The Identity Store API's endpoint URL is defined in Botocore's endpoint rule set:

"endpoint": {
    "url": "https://identitystore.{Region}.amazonaws.com",
    "properties": {},
    "headers": {}
},

2. For request headers

You can check the serialization logic for JSON for the expected request headers:

serialized['headers'] = {
    'X-Amz-Target': target,
    'Content-Type': f'application/x-amz-json-{json_version}',
}

3. For request format

The service definition file provides metadata about the request format and operation:

"metadata": {
    "apiVersion": "2020-06-15",
    "endpointPrefix": "identitystore",
    "jsonVersion": "1.1",
    "protocol": "json",
    "serviceAbbreviation": "IdentityStore",
    "serviceFullName": "AWS SSO Identity Store",
    "serviceId": "identitystore",
    "signatureVersion": "v4",
    "signingName": "identitystore",
    "targetPrefix": "AWSIdentityStore",
    "uid": "identitystore-2020-06-15"
},

The ListUsers operation is defined with its HTTP method and path:

"ListUsers": {
    "name": "ListUsers",
    "http": {
        "method": "POST",
        "requestUri": "/"
    }
}

So combine all this information and you have everything needed to construct the final request in Postman.

The following method works for DockerDesktop v4.29 and a few version below. It may not apply to higher version. If anyone knows how to config this for higher version, please let us know.

  1. Install DockerDesktop v4.29. Do not start it.
  2. Go to C:\Users{username}\AppData\Roaming\Docker, there should be no setting.json file.
  3. Now start DockerDesktop, you should see setting.json is generated.
  4. Stop/quit Docker
  5. Open setting.json, find "customWslDistroDir" and set it to "D:\{yourdocker}\{images}"
  6. Restart Docker
  7. Check Setting\Resources, you should see your image path there.

How did it go? Did you solve it? This happens when updating/upgrading and the installer is unable to remove or override the exiting files. I just have a similar issue with my install using Brew. From what I can see there are two options.

1. Remove the files from the path - optional - > make a backup of those files first so it can be replaced in case things go wild:

sudo rm -rf /Library/spyder-6

the installation will proceed as expected.

2. Create an environment and install there, for example using conda and install the new version there. This, if one wants to keep the previous version installed in the system.

Other options will be a regular install using pip. Or check if the installed version matches the update/upgrade.

Myself I just went for option 1 and worked without issues.
