There is one essential flaw in other answers: some problems when your enumeration type has members with explicitly defined values, and if some values get identical values. Those identical values are sometimes used to provide synonyms. Besides, sometimes you need to exclude some auxiliary members for the traversal.

For a comprehensive solution with a number of extras please see my article Enumeration Types do not Enumerate! Working around .NET and Language Limitations. In other articles of my enumeration series referenced in this article, you can find some interesting applications of this approach.

Solved it. It seems like the problem was that I was disabling the UIDocument component as soon as it was spawned in the scene with the intention of hidding the UI. I tried to change to disable the GameObject instead, but it seems like even that would break the UI as well (if someone knows why this happens, or if is a bug do let me know please). It seems like the best way to hide the UI is to change the visibility of the root element of the UI document.

The error arises due to mismatch between the versions.TensorFlow==2.15 overwrites keras with an older version(keras==2.15). If you install TensorFlow 2.15, you should reinstall keras 3 afterwards. This step is not necessary for TensorFlow versions 2.16 onwards, it will install Keras 3 by default. So to fix this issue issue, you can either upgrade your TensorFlow version or manually install keras==3.0 after installing TensorFlow 2.15 and import keras directly instead of using from tensorflow import keras. kindly refer to this document. There is no way to do this. The base URLs generated by the API expire after 60 minutes according to the documentation, and the sessions also expire. I assume they don't want apps to have permanent access to photos in case the user forgets or the app gets hacked. The best thing to do is to probably download a copy of the photo and store it on your servers. I thought they wanted a similar flow to the Google Drive Picker API, but that one doesn't even function without a restricted scope that already gives you access to the user's full drive.

Log4cxx can not guarantee entries in the log file are in the order in which logging requests are generated. AsyncAppender has been extensively overhaulled in release 1.3.0 to improve thoughput when logging from multiple threads (see the times in example benchmarks)

If you're letting Google manage the signing of the app, you only need an upload key and then you need to sign the bundle using the same upload key and upload the bundle

Go to Android studio's 'Build' - 'Generate Signed Bundle / Apk' - Choose ' Android App Bundle' - If you already have a key choose it or create new and sign the bundle then upload it

Upload and release keys are different. Once you choose google play signing you always sign your bundle with upload key and you don't have to worry about release key anymore. Play will check the signature of the uploaded bundle to make sure it's signed using the same upload key and if it is, they will use release key they've with them

I know this is 6 years later, but I see people still struggling with this. Also there is a very simple answer to this question, there is no need for all those hacks posted above. The issue causing this is the value prop, once you remove the value prop your native behavior will be back.

Why? Because once we use value, this becomes a controlled TextInput meaning every keystroke triggers onChangeText and it becomes controlled by React. This can break the native behavior.

only having onChangeText and updating the state is uncontrolled manner, which is controlled by the native platform therefore allowing you to double tap for a period -- also increase performance since not everything rerenders on every keystroke. Do not use value unless you really need it.

I tried the navigator.wakeLock.request('screen') api,

but it is not a stable solution.(especially on mobile devices)

With many tests, the most stable solution is to enable video playing in the background.(without user notice, won't be annoying)

There's no magic to it; it's actually based on time slicing. The reason why your physical machine has only 10 physical threads, but you see a significant improvement in response time when your JVM threads exceed 10, is because your service load is I/O-bound—it's an I/O-intensive program. I/O does not consume CPU time slices because modern operating systems handle I/O asynchronously (this is independent of the programming language you're using; at the lower level, it's triggered by interrupts rather than the CPU waiting in a busy loop).

You could consider changing your service load to something like a for loop, for example, running for 10^9 iterations. In this case, when the number of concurrent requests exceeds your physical threads, you'll see that increasing the number of JVM threads beyond the number of physical threads doesn't help with response time. In fact, as the thread count increases, the response time may gradually increase because the number of physical threads hasn't increased, and adding virtual threads introduces the overhead of context switching.

Google leads me here. @user35915's answer helped me a lot, adding details here. Hope this could help others.

Setup these two commands

command 2
>enable b 3
>c
command 3
>disable b 3
>c

Which means, when 2 is hit, enable 3, then continue. And when 3 is hit, disable 3, then continue.

The disable b 3 in latter command ensures 3 is hit at most once whenever it's enabled.

Append continue to commands saves me from typing c manually. If some detailed observation is needed, I would add commands before c, or even remove c (to stop program there). Like this,

command 3
>disable b 3
>bt
>c

Your getYouTubeThumbnail function works as intended with regular youtube links, however it may run into problems when extra params are added after the videoID.

Using url.split("v=")[1] retrieves the portion of the URL that comes after "v=".

const getYouTubeThumbnail = (url: string) => {
  const videoId = url.split("v=")[1]?.split("&")[0]; // Gets the part after "v=" and splits by "&" to remove additional parameters
  return `https://img.youtube.com/vi/${videoId}/hqdefault.jpg`;
};

by applying .split("&")[0], it separates any additional parameters that may follow the video ID and captures only the first segment, ensuring that you obtain just the video ID.

In python, a fast way to get the number of entities is: print(collection.num_entities)

But this method is not accurate because it only calculates the number from persisted segments, by quickly picking the number from etcd. Every time a segment is persisted, the basic information of the segment is recorded in Etcd, including its row number. collection.num_entities sums up row numbers of all the persisted segments. But this number doesn't count the deleted items. Let's say a segment has 1000 rows, and you call collection.delete() to delete 50 rows from the segment, the collection.num_entities always shows 1000 rows for you. And collection.num_entities doesn't know which entity is overwritten. Milvus storage is column-based, all the new data is appended to a new segment. If you use upsert() to overwrite an existing entity, it also appends the new entity to a new segment, and creates a delete action at the same time, the delete action is executed asynchronously. A delete action doesn't change the original number of this segment recorded in etcd because we don't intend to update etcd frequently(large amount of update action to etcd will show down the entire system performance). So, the collection.num_entities doesn't know which entity is deleted since the original number in etcd is not updated. Furthermore, collection.num_entities doesn't count non-persisted segments.

collection.query(output_fields=["count(*)"]) is a query request, executed by query nodes. It counts deleted items, and all segments including non-persisted. And collection.query() is slower than collection.num_entities.

If you have no delete/upsert actions to delete or overwrite the existing entities in a collection, then it is a fast way to check the row number of this collection by collection.num_entities. Otherwise, you should use collection.query(output_fields=["count(*)"]) to get the accurate row number.

From Persistent commit signature verification now in public preview announced by GitHub on November 13, 2024:

Persistent commit signature verification solves these issues by validating signatures at the time of the commit and storing the verification details permanently [...] Now, any commit with a verified status can retain that status, even when the signing key is rotated or removed.

Persistent commit signature verification is applied to new commits only. For commits pushed prior to this update, persistent records will be created upon the next verification, which happens when viewing a signed commit on GitHub anywhere the verified badge is displayed, or retrieving a signed commit via the REST API.

Emphasis added by me (cocomac)

While I haven't tried it myself yet, I think this means the verification can stay even if the GPG key is removed.

The accepted answer is no longer up to date.

There is now the (seemingly undocumented) Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.DiscoverInternalsAttribute which can be added to your assembly to allow the test adapter to discover internal test classes and methods.

I discovered this by looking at the source code:

https://github.com/microsoft/testfx/blob/main/src/TestFramework/TestFramework/Attributes/Lifecycle/Initialization/DiscoverInternalsAttribute.cs

The XmlDoc states:

/// <summary>
/// The presence of this attribute in a test assembly causes MSTest to discover test classes (i.e. classes having
/// the "TestClass" attribute) and test methods (i.e. methods having the "TestMethod" attribute) which are declared
/// internal in addition to test classes and test methods which are declared public. When this attribute is not
/// present in a test assembly the tests in such classes will not be discovered.

Android's security model makes implementing VPNs a bit more challenging. The core issue is that VPN implementations would (normally) need to be able to see the other applications' packets in cleartext so they can be encrypted and/or encapsulated into the VPN. On Linux, root or the kernel can do this easily, but on Android, normal apps don't get any special root privileges.

Google anticipated this issue and created an API for implementing VPNs. See: https://developer.android.com/develop/connectivity/vpn

So, yes, now 3rd party VPNs can be offered as installable applications, and you could develop one yourself if you wanted to.

From my understanding, L2TP is a Layer 2 protocol...

It's a layer 4[-ish] protocol running over IP/UDP. It primarily exists to tunnel PPP, which is an L2[-ish] protocol. PPP itself is used mostly for IP (via its IPCP sub-layer) but PPP in the past has been used for tunneling other things as well. As a historical note L2TP was actually used by some vendors & carriers to tunnel Ethernet directly (Ethernet -> L2TP -> UDP -> IP), in addition to PPP (IP -> PPP -> L2TP -> UDP -> IP).

So, practically speaking, the Android issue isn't really about access to lower layers (L2TP would appear just as any IP/UDP app), but rather being able to plug in to Android as a VPN so as to get access to packets from the applications that want to use the tunnel. And the API I linked to above solves that problem.

@samhita has a great answer that was also considered as a solution.

What I've done is basically the same just using SQL instead of python. This was built inside our ETL tool so I could use local variables as you see below.

So the solution that I went with was as follows:

  1. Load the .sql file into a Snowflake table directly from S3. I dumped it into a raw string table like so, create or replace TABLE RAW_SQL ( DATA VARCHAR(16777216) ); sample of raw sql data
  2. Next was to use SQL scripts to pull out each of the DROP / CREATE / INSERT statements and run them individually. I discovered that the INSERT values actually do fit in the varchar(max) 🤦🏻‍♂️, I was wrong about that.
  3. Here is an example of the SQL to parse the INSERT INTO statement select replace(replace(concat(i,v),'`',''),$$'0000-00-00 00:00:00'$$ ,'null') as sql from (-- get insert and corresponding values clause (next row) select data as i,lead(data) over(order by row_id) as v from (-- get ordered list of stmts select data, row_number() over(order by 1) as row_id from raw_sql where data like any('INSERT INTO%','VALUES (%') ) ) where contains(i,'INSERT INTO')

You can see I had to do some cleanup of the incoming data (the replaces) but just put together the INSERT and VALUES clause and then EXECUTE IMMEDIATE.

execute immediate $$${sql}$$

Where {sql} is a variable that holds the sql statement in a string.

Maybe it's not pretty but it works! :D

Thanks to everyone for your help and responses!

What I do is: when I'm done laying out the GUI, I save the FormBuilder file, and generate the file containing the inherited class. Then I copy the inherited class file to a separate working file. I then edit the working file to subclass the main class from the inherited class file. I can then edit the working file as necessary to add event handlers etc. but it picks up the FB GUI instructions.

If the GUI needs changes, I change it with FormBuilder, save the FB file and regenerate the inherited class file. This, then, remains subclassed in the working file. The GUI is updated, but the working file is unaffected.

This has worked well for me.

You're on the right track by thinking of preventDefault(). But in order to use it properly, you need to call it on the event object within the submit event handler. This will prevent the form default submit action from occurring.

So you should have written this code/line instead.

 event.preventDefault()

Thanks for your question! You're very close.

To get the masker to properly mask the white box, you need to make the white box itself "masked." To do that, add the following line of code:

this.whiteBox.makeMasked(nc.masks.MainMask);

This will display the bottom-left corner of the white box.

Why is this necessary?

By default, a mask only displays what is being masked — essentially, the portion that is covered by the mask. However, if you want the mask to hide the area it covers, revealing the remaining visible area of the object (in this case, the white box), you can invert the mask.

To do this, pass the optional invertMask parameter as true to the makeMasked() function:

this.whiteBox.makeMasked(nc.masks.MainMask, true); // true = invert mask, show what is NOT covered

Explanation:

The first version (makeMasked(nc.masks.MainMask)) will display only the part of the white box that is covered by the mask. The second version (makeMasked(nc.masks.MainMask, true)) inverts the mask so that the area outside the mask is visible, and the area inside the mask is hidden.

Let me know if you need further clarification!

I added a comment on this question with some links to resources about Dynamic Type. I replicated your UI using that approach in the following gist so you can see what that might look like. Gist

You may want to implement different UI, or differences in your existing UI, based on the size class of the user's device. Ensuring things look right on the various devices is a big part of the UI side of app development.

You may want to consider fetching the consent agreement's text from a service as simplified HTML. If you do that, you can create an NSAttributedString using the HTML. The HTML can style the text as blue, and I think you can still set the font using Dynamic Type approach from the gist (I didn't verify this). If you're fetching HTML for the consent agreement, you'll be able to change the text without recompiling your app.

Thank you @chehrlic for a solution that worked.

Using on windows, adding the preprocessor OS check for windows and changing the style to 'windowsvista' if true, solved the immediate problem.

#include <QStyleFactory>

// if windows, set this style
#ifdef Q_OS_WIN
    if (QStyleFactory::keys().contains("windowsvista")) {

I am assuming you have not created any Chakra UI provider component to wrap your application.

Please create a provider.js file in your project (anywhere you want, I will create it on the root). Normally it's components/ui/provider

Add these to the provider.js

'use client';

import { ChakraProvider } from '@chakra-ui/react';

export function Provider({ children }) {
  return <ChakraProvider>{children}</ChakraProvider>;
}

Include above provider in you layout.js file

import { Provider } from './provider';

export default function RootLayout({ children }) {
  return (
    <html suppressHydrationWarning>
      <body>
        <Provider>{children}</Provider>
      </body>
    </html>
  );
}

Now try to run the application. Let me know if you get any errors. Check this documentation and git repo for any concern.

Did you manage to set up the PageView event correctly for both web and server-side tracking? I’m curious if you were able to integrate both browser pixel tracking and CAPI without duplicating the events. Could you also share what your code looks like for the custom HTML (page_view event in web GTM) tag with the event_id included? It would be very helpful to see how you implemented it. Thanks

type Dog = { name?: boolean };

Answer is in the docs https://mui.com/material-ui/api/accordion/

If you want to stop the gap between accordions when expanded type add "disableGutters" within in the <Accordion tag e.g. <Accordion disableGutters key={listId} defaultExpanded sx={{ backgroundColor: "#c12", color: "white" }}

that removes the default gutter gaps between accordions
